Project Care & Concern Sister Joyce McMullen, SND |
Project Care and Concern has been active in Dorchester for over thirty years. It's ministries continue to serve the residents of Harbor Point (formerly known as Columbia Point) and Uphams Corner under the direction of Sr. Joyce McMullen of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and her colleagues. Since the late 1980's, the offices and Thift Shop of Project Care and Concern have been located on the second floor of Pilgrim Church. |
| Simplicity resembles that beautiful flower called the sunflower, which follows the sun and ever turns towards it. So, too, the mind and heart of the one who possesses simplicity are always turned towards God. |
Project Care & Concern seeks to respond to the needs of low-income families, youth, and senior citizens by helping these people attain their basic human rights whenever they have been deprived of them. The Thrift Shop offers, for reasonable prices: new and used clothing and household items. |
| Project Care & Concern's Thrift Shop is located on the second floor of Pilgrim Church. It is open to the public Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays) from 10:00am - 4:00pm. Clothing and household items are for sale at reasonable prices. |
