Ibadan, Nigeria — Bosede Bakarey left a growing law practice to devote her whole life to the public healing practice of Christian Science. This change was a result of several years of deep study of the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Through this study Bosede gained some wonderful, life-altering, and transforming ideas, which helped her to overcome the pains and problems of widowhood and single-parenthood and to effectively raise and educate her three sons.
Now she is using the ideas and understanding gained from her study and experience to help others find freedom from the limitations and shackles of materiality: sin, sickness, disease, pain, poverty, lack, relationship problems, unemployment, homelessness, purposelessness, etc. She has found that freedom from such limitations is gained through spiritual means alone—through helping those who are searching for a better understanding of God to feel a connection to Him.
Bosede loves to sing hymns—some of which have been helpful in effecting long-awaited healings. She loves people greatly, especially children, and is a devoted mother. Her interests include reading, baking, and cooking.
Bosede has given talks and addresses to youths, students, social organizations, community groups, and training sessions for employees and employers of labor.
